PRODUCT OVERVIEW

Clostar GM Cream is a combination medicine used for the treatment of various types of skin infections. It helps control infection causing microorganisms while reducing symptoms of inflammation such as redness, swelling, and itching. It is meant for external use only and should be used as directed by your doctor.

KEY USES AND BENEFITS

Clostar GM Cream is used for the treatment of skin infections caused by microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi. It helps stop the growth of infection causing microorganisms, thereby helping clear the infection and relieve associated symptoms. It also reduces inflammation and helps relieve redness, swelling, and itching, providing greater comfort during recovery. Continue using the cream for the complete duration prescribed by your doctor, even if your symptoms improve, to help prevent the infection from returning.

COMPOSITION AND HOW IT WORKS

Clostar GM Cream contains three medicines, Clotrimazole, Clobetasol, and Neomycin. Clotrimazole is an antifungal medicine that stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their protective covering. Clobetasol is a steroid medicine that blocks the production of certain chemical messengers called prostaglandins, which contribute to redness, swelling, and itching of the skin. Neomycin is an antibiotic that stops bacterial growth by preventing bacteria from producing essential proteins required for their vital functions. Together, these medicines help control the infection and reduce associated inflammation and discomfort.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Clostar GM Cream is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. Clean and dry the affected area before applying a thin layer of the cream with clean and dry hands. Wash your hands before and after application unless your hands are the affected area. Avoid touching, pricking, or scratching the infected skin. If the cream accidentally gets into the eyes, nose, mouth, or vagina, rinse thoroughly with water. Continue treatment for the duration prescribed by your doctor, even if your symptoms improve.

SIDE EFFECTS

Clostar GM Cream may cause application site reactions such as burning, irritation, itching, redness, dryness, peeling, and a burning sensation. These effects are usually mild and temporary. Serious side effects are rare. Consult your doctor if these effects persist, worsen, or become troublesome. Seek medical attention if you experience signs of an allergic reaction such as rashes, itching, swelling, or shortness of breath.
