PRODUCT OVERVIEW

SINARest Paediatric Drops is a combination medicine used in children for the treatment of common cold symptoms. It helps relieve blocked nose, runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, congestion, and associated discomfort, allowing children to breathe more comfortably and feel better during illness.

KEY USES AND BENEFITS

SINARest Paediatric Drops is used for the treatment of common cold in children. It effectively relieves symptoms such as blocked nose, runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, congestion, and nasal stuffiness. The medicine also helps loosen thick mucus, making it easier to cough out and improving airflow through the respiratory passages. It provides rapid relief from cold symptoms, with effects that can last for several hours, helping children remain more comfortable throughout the day.

COMPOSITION AND HOW IT WORKS

SINARest Paediatric Drops contains Chlorpheniramine, Paracetamol, and Phenylephrine. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic medicine that helps relieve allergy related symptoms such as runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing by blocking the effects of histamine. Paracetamol acts as an analgesic and antipyretic, helping reduce pain and fever by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers responsible for these symptoms. Phenylephrine is a nasal decongestant that narrows small blood vessels in the nasal passages, helping relieve congestion and nasal stuffiness. Together, these ingredients provide comprehensive relief from common cold symptoms.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Give SINARest Paediatric Drops to your child exactly as prescribed by the doctor. The drops may be administered with or without food, although giving them with food may be preferred if stomach upset occurs. Measure the prescribed dose using a marked dropper and administer orally. Give the medicine at a fixed time each day to help maintain a regular dosing schedule. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, the same dose may be given again. However, do not repeat the dose if it is already time for the next scheduled dose. Continue the medicine for the full duration prescribed by the doctor, even if your child starts feeling better.

SIDE EFFECTS

SINARest Paediatric Drops is generally well tolerated in children. Some children may experience headache, insomnia, dizziness, nausea, tachycardia, palpitations, anxiety, restlessness, tremors, weakness, hallucination, hypersensitivity, nervousness, or vomiting. These side effects are usually mild and temporary and often improve as the body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your child's doctor if any side effect persists or becomes bothersome.

SAFETY ADVICE

Use SINARest Paediatric Drops only under medical supervision and follow the prescribed dose and duration carefully. Inform your child's doctor about any ongoing medications and any history of allergy, heart problems, blood disorders, birth defects, airway obstruction, lung abnormalities, skin disorders, liver impairment, or kidney malfunction before starting treatment. Do not stop the medicine abruptly without consulting the doctor, as this may worsen your child's condition. Seek medical advice if symptoms persist or if side effects become severe or troublesome.
